New Chronometer Needed

I'm not entirely sure yet in what year I've landed this time. My time-destination circuits seem to have a growing variance, and I'm not sure if it is from metal components of the time machine chassis gradually being magnetized with each use of the Tesla field generator, or something else.

But I appear to be close in my destination of the early 20th century, and hopefully I'm near Caledon. From the looks of things, I may have shifted position in space slightly north of Caledon in the forests of Winterfell. I'll soon get my local bearings with a short hike to the southeast.

I can see that it will be absolutely imperative that I come up with some kind of accurate chronometer that can tell me my position in time. It's the only way I'll be able to further calibrate the time machine.

If I were to build one with my Tesla technology, it would likely be the size of a house. Not very easy to take with me. I'm therefore going to risk a time jump into the future - roughly 2200 AD - to see if I can find a technological solution there that I could then bring back with me.

I'm sensing there are other time travelers. I know it must be true. Perhaps I can fashion a device that will reveal other time-travel activity...
